I Let Ordinary Go

And become the music inside of me

I did very little today,
by ordinary means
yet, I spent time with my soul,
and I wrote and felt inside
the circles of here and there
and the sorcery in my dreams.

I became a wavelength
with my imagination;
it can’t be measured or seen.

It’s felt inside a deeper field
like the sea,
a meadow,
inside a cave.

It’s unknown.

A room with a table,
my cat,
two mugs.

Crumbs of thoughts
sprinkled by magic
to write a sun
and hush a world
raining down

you should do more

Today,
I did very little
by ordinary means.

However, today,
I wrote the music
inside of me.
